About Cerberus Sports

 Cerberus Sports is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through sports in the underserved community of Southeast Auburn, WA. Our mission is to boost youth sports participation by offering affordable team opportunities to families and communities with limited resources, while also providing education on safe and healthy sports practices. 

We are committed to fostering a fun and secure environment where children of all backgrounds and financial situations can enjoy being part of a team.

Youth sports are essential for developing character and crucial life skills such as teamwork, self-confidence, and perseverance. Research shows that active children generally excel in life, and sports have traditionally provided a pathway to an active and healthy lifestyle for all kids.

However, over the past twenty years, youth sports have evolved into a $20 billion industry, with families now spending an average of over $1000 per child athlete annually. This rising cost has left many low-income families behind, leading to a trend where children are dropping out of sports by age 11, often due to financial pressures, exclusion, or burnout.

Founded in 2022, Cerberus Sports was established to tackle these challenges. We support children from low-income families by providing access to sports, and donations are crucial to sustaining our programs. We are dedicated to keeping kids engaged in sports by offering high-quality experiences and maintaining our commitment to inclusivity and support.
